NASC Mission

At Nepean Artistic Swim Club (NASC), our mission is to enhance the physical, social, and emotional development of our swimmers through participation in artistic swimming as a team sport. Our Philosophy

At Nepean Artistic Swim Club, we believe that artistic swimming is more than just a sport—it’s a platform for personal development. Our programs are designed to nurture athletes of all levels, emphasizing not only physical skills but also teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. Through structured training and supportive coaching, we aim to instill values that extend beyond the pool, preparing our swimmers for success in all areas of life.

Competitive Program

  • Maximize the development of competitive artistic swimmers while considering club resources and external competitive rulings.
  • Advance artistic and technical skills through targeted training sessions, workshops, and the use of external experts.
  • Foster teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship among swimmers and coaches.
  • Develop leadership skills in our swimmers for long-term coaching potential.
  • Provide cost-effective and affordable programs.

Novice Program

  • Maximize the development of novice artistic swimmers while considering club resources and external novice rulings.
  • Provide competition experiences.
  • Foster teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship among swimmers and coaches.
  • Provide cost-effective and affordable programs.

Recreational Program

  • Introduce the sport of artistic swimming to newcomers in a positive and fun environment.
  • Allow for progression of skills and athlete development within the recreational program.
  • Train a stream of potential swimmers for possible progression to the novice or competitive programs.
  • Operate a profit-based program to subsidize the competitive program.
  • Provide a training ground for future competitive and novice coaches.
  • Provide cost-effective and affordable programs.

NEPEAN ARTISTIC SWIM CLUB

Nepean Artistic Swim Club is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
